Jotun Arena Braces for Blockbuster Autumn Home Run
Jotun Arena is entering one of its busiest periods of the 2026 season, with four Eliteserien heavyweights still to visit Sandefjord. Lillestrøm are first up on 18 October, as the stadium prepares to play a defining role in the season's finale. Off the pitch, a girls' football camp and member events are also keeping the ground buzzing this week.
Lillestrøm Arrive as Jotun Arena's Autumn Run Intensifies
Sandefjord Fotball's remaining home schedule at Jotun Arena is shaping up to be one of the most demanding — and exciting — stretches in the stadium's recent history. Four Eliteserien opponents are still to make the trip to Nygårdsveien 84 before the season closes on 13 December: Lillestrøm, Molde, Tromsø, and Vålerenga.
The first of those tests arrives on 18 October, when Lillestrøm visit for a 5:00 PM kick-off. Tickets are on sale now through TicketCo.
A Compact, Intimidating Venue
Jotun Arena, opened in 2007 and owned and operated by Sandefjord Fotball, holds 6,582 spectators and plays on an artificial turf surface measuring 105 metres by 68 metres. Its compact dimensions and vocal home support have long made it one of the more demanding away trips in the Eliteserien.
With a busy run of home fixtures ahead, the ground is set to play a central role in determining where Sandefjord finish come the end of the campaign.
Club Events Add to the Autumn Atmosphere
Off the pitch, Jotun Arena is equally active. A girls' football camp — the Sparebanken Norge SF Kvinner Camp — is taking place at the stadium on 8–10 October, welcoming players born between 2013 and 2020 for training, matches, and a dedicated goalkeeping programme.
SF Ekstra members also have a dedicated October event planned at the arena on 11 October, further underlining the stadium's role as a community hub beyond matchdays.
Rosenborg Away Before the Home Spotlight Returns
Before Jotun Arena takes centre stage again, Sandefjord head to Lerkendal on 10 October to face Rosenborg in a tricky away assignment. When they return, the focus shifts firmly back to home soil — and to a Lillestrøm side that will provide a significant early test of Sandefjord's ambitions for the run-in.
