Jotun Arena Braces for Season-Defining Autumn Run
Five Eliteserien home fixtures remain at Jotun Arena between October and December, and Sandefjord Fotball's final standing could be decided on their own patch. The ground is gearing up for its busiest and most critical period of the 2026 season.
Five Home Fixtures Left to Define Sandefjord's Season
Jotun Arena is entering the most consequential stretch of the 2026 Eliteserien campaign. Five home fixtures remain at the Nygårdsveien 84 ground before the season concludes in December, and the club's final league position could hinge on what happens on that artificial turf in Sandefjord.
The run begins with Lillestrøm on 18 October, followed by Molde on 8 November, Tromsø on 29 November, and Vålerenga on 13 December. With Sandefjord sitting on 23 points from 21 matches — level with Vålerenga in the standings — every home game now carries significant weight.
A Fortress with a Reputation
Jotun Arena, opened in 2007 and owned and operated by Sandefjord Fotball, has a capacity of 6,582 and compact dimensions of 105 metres by 68 metres. Those tight confines, combined with a vocal home support, have steadily turned the ground into one of the more intimidating venues in Norwegian top-flight football.
The recent home win over IK Start, which drew 4,481 supporters, underlined just how much the crowd contributes to the team's performance. Visiting sides have consistently found Jotun Arena a difficult place to travel to.
Tickets on Sale Now
Fans can secure their seats for all remaining home matches through TicketCo. Those looking for more than just matchday access can also sign up for the SF Ekstra membership scheme, which has a dedicated October event planned at the arena on 11 October.
With the title race tightening and the bottom of the table still unsettled, the supporters who pack into Jotun Arena over the coming weeks could prove to be the difference between a strong finish and a difficult one.
