Jotun Arena Goes Beyond Football with Back-to-Back Community Events
Jotun Arena is in the spotlight this week for more than just the Viking FK clash, hosting a regional coaching and leadership gathering on 4 September and the September edition of the SF Ekstra membership programme on 6 September. The initiatives underline the stadium's growing role as a community hub in Sandefjord.
Members and Coaches Converge on Jotun Arena
Jotun Arena is doubling up as a community hub this week, hosting two back-to-back initiatives that highlight the stadium's role beyond matchdays. On the evening of 4 September — the same night as the Viking FK fixture — the stadium welcomed a coaching and leadership gathering focused on player and coach development across the Vestfold region.
The event, known locally as Trener og ledersamling, brought together coaches and stakeholders from the area, underscoring the club's commitment to grassroots development and the broader football community in the region.
SF Ekstra Returns for September
The following morning, on 6 September, Jotun Arena opened its doors again for the September edition of SF Ekstra — the club's dedicated supporter and stakeholder membership programme. Kicking off at 9:00 AM, the initiative keeps the community around Sandefjord Fotball engaged with the club throughout the month, offering members exclusive access and experiences at the ground.
Tickets and registration for SF Ekstra September 2026 are available through TicketCo, with the club keen to maintain momentum between matchdays.
A Stadium That Never Sleeps
The twin events reflect a broader strategy at Jotun Arena to keep the facility active and relevant to supporters and the local community week-round. With an OBOS Camp also scheduled for 5 October and a string of Eliteserien home games stretching to December, the stadium's calendar is as full off the pitch as it is on it.
For fans looking ahead, the next home league fixture sees Sandefjord take on IK Start on 20 September, with tickets already on sale through TicketCo.
