Jotun Arena's Autumn Run Begins in Style With 3-0 Sweep of Start
Sandefjord Fotball launched their six-game Eliteserien home run with a commanding 3-0 victory over IK Start at Jotun Arena on September 20. Over 4,400 supporters witnessed the second-half blitz, giving the stadium the perfect springboard into a defining autumn stretch. Five more home fixtures now follow before the season closes in December.
A Perfect Home Launch
Jotun Arena's six-game home run for the 2026 Eliteserien season is officially under way, and it could hardly have started better. Sandefjord Fotball swept aside IK Start 3-0 on September 20, delivering a dominant display in front of a strong home crowd at Nygårdsveien 84.
The result gave Sandefjord the ideal platform heading into a packed autumn schedule — and with five home fixtures still to come, the stakes at Jotun Arena have never been higher.
The Crowd That Showed Up
A crowd of 4,481 supporters packed into the stadium for the Start fixture, creating exactly the kind of atmosphere the club will be counting on as the season reaches its climax. Jotun Arena holds up to 6,582 spectators, and the club will be hoping to push that figure even higher when bigger names come calling in the coming weeks.
The 3-0 scoreline — with a goalless first half giving way to a three-goal second — made for a tense and ultimately thrilling afternoon for those inside the ground.
What Comes Next
Five more home matches remain on the Eliteserien calendar before the season closes in December. Lillestrøm visit on October 18, followed by Molde on November 8, Tromsø on November 29, and finally Vålerenga on December 13.
Tickets for all upcoming fixtures are available through TicketCo, and the club's SF Ekstra membership initiative continues to keep the supporter community engaged throughout the autumn stretch.
A Stadium Built for This Moment
Opened in 2007 and featuring an artificial turf surface on a 105m × 68m pitch, Jotun Arena is owned and operated by Sandefjord Fotball. Over the years it has grown into a reliable Eliteserien venue, and this autumn run represents one of its most consequential periods to date.
With the home campaign now in full swing, all eyes will be on Jotun Arena as Sandefjord look to make their remaining home games count.
