Kapskarmo Signs Long-Term Deal as Jotun Arena Eyes Big Autumn
Oscar Kapskarmo has committed to Sandefjord Fotball until 2030, bringing welcome stability just as Jotun Arena embarks on its most important home stretch of the season. The signing follows a 3-0 opening win over IK Start and sets the tone for five more crucial home fixtures to come.
Kapskarmo Commits His Future to Sandefjord
In the biggest off-pitch news to hit Jotun Arena this week, Oscar Kapskarmo has penned a long-term deal that will keep him at the club until the end of 2030. The announcement, made on 25 September, was welcomed warmly by supporters who have watched the player develop at Nygårdsveien 84.
The signing signals clear ambition from Sandefjord Fotball as they push through a decisive phase of the 2026 Eliteserien season. Securing key players on extended contracts is a central part of the club's strategy heading into what promises to be a packed autumn at Jotun Arena.
The Perfect Platform: A Six-Game Home Run
Kapskarmo's commitment comes at an ideal moment. Jotun Arena is in the middle of its most important stretch of the year — a six-game home run that opened with a commanding 3-0 victory over IK Start on 20 September in front of an attendance of 4,481.
Five further home fixtures remain before the season closes in December, with Lillestrøm, Molde, Tromsø and Vålerenga all still to visit the 6,582-capacity ground. Tickets for all upcoming fixtures are available through TicketCo.
Academy and Reserve Sides Add to the Buzz
The activity at Jotun Arena has not been limited to the first team. SF2, the club's reserve side, put on a thriller on 26 September, defeating Elverum 4-3 on home turf in a high-tempo encounter that showcased the depth of talent within the Sandefjord Fotball setup.
With a training match against Fredrikstad also scheduled at the stadium in week 40, the arena continues to serve the full breadth of the club's football programme — from academy level right through to the Eliteserien squad.
