The result came just days after a hard-fought 2–1 away win against Sarpsborg 08 in Eliteserien on 16 August, a match that showed the squad's resilience and team spirit.
Home Fans Look Ahead to Brann
With the cup opener settled convincingly on the road, attention at Jotun Arena now turns firmly back to domestic league action. Sandefjord's next home fixture is a significant one: SK Brann visit the stadium on 30 August for an Eliteserien clash that will be closely watched by supporters eager to see the squad build on recent momentum.
