Six Home Games and a Packed Events Calendar Ahead at Jotun Arena
Jotun Arena faces one of its most action-packed autumn schedules in recent memory, with six Eliteserien home fixtures and a string of supporter and community events lined up through to December. Viking FK are next to visit on 4 September, just days after the high-profile Brann match. Fan events and coaching gatherings add to a busy off-pitch programme.
Autumn Packed with Home Action
Jotun Arena is entering one of its busiest stretches of the Eliteserien season, with six home matches scheduled between late August and mid-December. Following the Brann fixture on 30 August, Viking FK make the trip to Sandefjord on 4 September for a floodlit evening kick-off at 21:00 — one of the latest scheduled starts of the home campaign.
IK Start then visit on 20 September, before Lillestrøm, Molde, Tromsø and Vålerenga complete the home programme later in the autumn and into early winter.
Background: A Season of Contrasts
Sandefjord's recent home record has been a mixed picture. The side drew 1-1 with Fredrikstad in May and beat Kristiansund BK 2-0, but more recently fell 0-1 to KFUM Oslo and 0-3 to Bodø/Glimt at Jotun Arena in July and August. With Viking and Start to come, the next two home matches represent a crucial opportunity to turn the tide in front of their own supporters.
The arena, situated on Nygårdsveien 84 in Sandefjord and capable of holding around 6,500 fans, has been a regular Eliteserien venue since it opened in 2007.
Extra Events Alongside the Football
Beyond the league fixtures, the TicketCo listings reveal a broader programme at the ground. An SF Ekstra supporter event is scheduled for 6 September, while an OBOS Camp at Jotun Arena is set for 5 October. A coaching and leadership gathering focused on player and coach development in Vestfold is also listed for 4 September, underlining the arena's role as a community hub as well as a match venue.
