A Sell-Out Crowd, a Painful Result
Sandefjord Fotball's 'Folkets Kamp' initiative — offering supporters entry to their Eliteserien home match against KFUM Oslo on 7 August for just 19 kroner — succeeded in filling Jotun Arena to capacity. The near-zero ticket price, covering the booking fee alone, was designed to throw open the stadium doors to the entire community and give as many people as possible a taste of top-flight Norwegian football.
Despite the electric atmosphere generated by a packed house, the evening ended in disappointment for the home side. KFUM Oslo left Sandefjord with a 1–0 victory, inflicting a defeat that dropped Sandefjord down to 13th place in the Eliteserien table.
'The People's Match' — A Fan Initiative Like No Other
Dubbed 'Folkets Kamp' — loosely translated as 'The People's Match' — the promotion stood out as one of the most affordable top-flight matchday offers seen in Norway this season. Tickets were made available through the SF App and the club's official website, and demand was strong enough to sell out the stadium well ahead of kick-off.

Eyes Turn to Brann on 30 August
Attention at Jotun Arena now shifts quickly to what promises to be a blockbuster occasion. SK Brann are due in Sandefjord on Sunday 30 August for another Eliteserien clash, with kick-off scheduled for 17:00. Reports indicate the stadium is already sold out ahead of that fixture as well.
A memorial tribute is also planned before the Brann match to honour His Majesty King Harald V, following information received from the Norwegian Football Federation regarding the consequences of the King's passing for Norwegian football fixtures. The club has confirmed the match itself will go ahead as planned.
