Viking FK Next Up as Jotun Arena Enters Busy September
Jotun Arena is gearing up for one of its biggest weeks of the Eliteserien season, with Sandefjord Fotball hosting Viking FK on 4 September. A coaching summit and the club's SF Ekstra programme also bring extra activity to the stadium in the days surrounding the match.
Eliteserien Action Returns to Jotun Arena
Sandefjord Fotball are set to host Viking FK at Jotun Arena on 4 September 2026, with kick-off scheduled for 9:00 PM local time. The match marks the next home fixture in what has been a busy Eliteserien calendar for the club at their Sandefjord ground.
Tickets for the fixture are already on sale through TicketCo, and demand from supporters will be closely watched as Sandefjord look to make the most of their home advantage on the artificial turf at Nygårdsveien 84.
A Packed Autumn Ahead at Jotun Arena
The Viking clash is just the start of a demanding home schedule. Sandefjord will also welcome IK Start on 20 September, Lillestrøm on 18 October, Molde on 8 November, Tromsø on 29 November, and Vålerenga on 13 December — making Jotun Arena a hub of top-flight Norwegian football right through to the end of the season.
With a capacity of around 6,500 spectators, the stadium will need to be in fine voice if Sandefjord are to push for points in the second half of the campaign.
SF Ekstra and Coach Summit Add to the Week's Programme
Beyond the match itself, the week of 4–6 September is shaping up to be one of the most eventful of the season at Jotun Arena. A coaching and leadership gathering — Trener og ledersamling — focused on player and coach development in Vestfold is scheduled for the evening of 4 September at the stadium, running alongside the match day programme.
Then on 6 September, the club's SF Ekstra membership initiative resumes its September edition from 9:00 AM, keeping supporters and stakeholders engaged with the club throughout the week. It all underlines the role Jotun Arena plays not just as a match venue, but as a community hub for football in the Vestfold region.
