Week 34 at Jotun Arena: Cup Away, Academy Goals and Brann Incoming
Sandefjord Fotball's weekly Jotun Arena update for week 34 confirms the first team heads away for a Norwegian Cup tie against Eidanger on 23 August, while the academy keeps the stadium busy with impressive results at home. The next big Eliteserien night at Jotun Arena arrives on 30 August when SK Brann come to town.
What's On at Jotun Arena This Week
Sandefjord Fotball's official club website published its weekly Jotun Arena activity update for week 34 on 17 August, giving supporters and academy families a clear picture of what to expect at the ground in the days ahead.
The first-team men's side is not in action at Jotun Arena this weekend — the A-team heads away for the first round of the Norwegian Cup, travelling to face Eidanger on 23 August at 16:00. Mid-week training continues as normal, with a solo session scheduled for Wednesday morning from approximately 10:45.
Academy Action Keeps the Arena Busy
While the senior squad is on cup duty away from home, the academy continues to provide matchday action at Jotun Arena. The under-14 side recently lit up the ground with a commanding 7–2 home victory over Molde, a result the club described as a solid start to the autumn programme.
The under-16 side also has reason to celebrate after a dramatic victory over KFUM Oslo in the eighth-final of the Norwegian Championship — a result confirmed on 19 August that sent the squad through to the quarter-finals.
Brann on the Horizon
Attention at Jotun Arena is already turning to the next senior home fixture. SK Brann arrive on 30 August for an Eliteserien clash that carries significant weight for Sandefjord's hopes of climbing clear of the relegation zone. Tickets are available now through the club's official channels, and with home support proving so vital, the ground is expected to fill up quickly for what promises to be one of the most important matches of the season.
