'Folkets Kamp': KFUM Oslo Visit for a Near-Free Matchday on 7 August
Sandefjord Fotball are offering supporters the chance to watch Eliteserien football at Jotun Arena for just 19 kroner when KFUM Oslo visit on 7 August. The club has labelled the occasion 'Folkets Kamp' — the People's Match — in a bid to welcome the whole community through the turnstiles. Kick-off is set for 17:00.
A Bargain Matchday on the Horizon for Sandefjord Fans
Sandefjord Fotball have announced a special fan initiative for their upcoming home fixture against KFUM Oslo. On Friday 7 August 2026, the club will open the gates of Jotun Arena for what it is calling "Folkets Kamp" — the People's Match — with supporters only required to pay a booking fee of 19 Norwegian kroner to attend.
The initiative is designed to bring the local community together around the club and lower the barrier for those who may not regularly attend Eliteserien matches. The match kicks off at 17:00.
Community at the Core
The "Folkets Kamp" concept reflects a broader push by Sandefjord Fotball to deepen ties with their fanbase and the wider Sandefjord community. By making attendance almost entirely free of charge, the club is inviting families, newcomers and lapsed supporters to experience a top-flight Norwegian football atmosphere at Jotun Arena.
Jotun Arena, which has been the club's home since it opened in July 2007 and took on its current name following a sponsorship deal with paint manufacturer Jotun in September 2023, holds up to 6,582 spectators.
Sandefjord's Home Schedule Heats Up
The KFUM Oslo fixture is part of a busy second half of the Eliteserien home calendar at Jotun Arena. After the Bodø/Glimt match on 26 July, the stadium will host visits from Brann, Viking, Start, Lillestrøm, Molde, Tromsø and Vålerenga before the season closes in December.
With 14 points from 11 matches, Sandefjord are firmly in mid-table and will be looking to their home fortress to help them push up the standings in the weeks ahead.
