Home Fortress Reopens: Start Visit Jotun Arena on September 20
Jotun Arena is gearing up for its first Eliteserien home match in over two weeks as IK Start arrive on September 20. The fixture kicks off a six-game home run that could determine Sandefjord Fotball's top-flight future. Tickets are already on sale through TicketCo.
Action Returns to Nygårdsveien
After an extended spell away from home, Jotun Arena is preparing to welcome Eliteserien football back to Sandefjord. The club's official channels confirmed on September 15 that Week 38 brings a long-awaited home fixture — the first in the top flight since the 1-1 draw with Viking on September 4.
The match against IK Start, scheduled for Sunday September 20 at 17:00, is the opener of a demanding six-game home run that will define Sandefjord Fotball's autumn.
Six Crucial Home Dates Ahead
Sandefjord face six consecutive home fixtures at Jotun Arena between now and December 13, a stretch that includes Lillestrøm, Molde, Tromsø, and a season finale against Vålerenga. With the club currently sitting 13th in the Eliteserien table on 20 points, just above the relegation zone, every point earned at the stadium will be vital.
The artificial turf surface at Nygårdsveien 84 — measuring 105 by 68 metres — is an advantage the home side will be looking to exploit against visiting opponents who must adapt to the conditions.
Tickets on Sale Now
Tickets for the Start fixture are already available through TicketCo, and the club's SF Ekstra membership initiative is running its September edition, keeping the supporter community tightly connected ahead of what promises to be a pivotal period.
Jotun Arena holds approximately 6,500 spectators and has proven itself a genuine fortress at key moments this season. Fans are encouraged to get to the ground early and make their presence felt as the club battles to secure its Eliteserien status.
