Jotun Arena Braces for Six-Game Home Run to Close the Season
Sandefjord Fotball's Jotun Arena is gearing up for a packed final stretch of the 2026 Eliteserien season, with six home matches scheduled between September and December. The run begins with IK Start on 20 September and also features Lillestrøm, Molde, Tromsø, and Vålerenga. Youth football and supporter initiatives add further colour to what promises to be a defining autumn at the ground.
Six Home Games to Define Sandefjord's Season
With the Eliteserien entering its decisive final phase, Jotun Arena is set for one of its busiest run-ins in recent memory. Sandefjord Fotball have six home fixtures remaining in 2026, beginning with the visit of IK Start on 20 September and running all the way through to a home clash with Vålerenga on 13 December.
The full list of home dates also includes Lillestrøm on 18 October, Molde on 8 November, and Tromsø on 29 November — a sequence that pits Sandefjord against opponents from across the Norwegian football map.
Supporters Already Engaged
Tickets for the IK Start fixture on 20 September are already available through TicketCo, and the club's SF Ekstra membership initiative kicked off its September edition on 6 September, keeping the supporter community closely connected to the club throughout the month.
Jotun Arena, which holds approximately 6,500 spectators, will need a strong home atmosphere if Sandefjord are to convert these fixtures into points. The stadium at Nygårdsveien 84 has proven a reliable fortress at key moments this season.
Youth Football in the Spotlight Too
The coming week at Jotun Arena is not just about the first team. According to the club's fixture schedule for week 37, a match listed as G15 on Sunday is in fact a quarter-final in the Norwegian Cup for the G16 age group — a reminder that the stadium serves as a focal point for football development across age groups in Vestfold.
With senior, youth, and community events all converging on the ground this month, Jotun Arena looks set to be at the heart of Sandefjord life for the weeks ahead.
