The update noted that the first team would be away for the Norwegian Cup first round, travelling to Eidanger for a tie on 23 August, while midweek individual training sessions at the stadium continue as normal from approximately 10:45.

On the youth cup front, the G16 side — representing the Komplett-Akademiet — edged past KFUM Oslo in a thriller to secure a quarter-final place in the Norwegian Championship, further boosting the mood around the club.

The senior men's squad head into the cup week buoyed by their 2-1 away win at Sarpsborg 08 on 16 August, a result the club described as the product of an extraordinary collective effort.
