Nine-Game Autumn Fortress Run Begins for Jotun Arena
Jotun Arena faces its most important stretch of the 2026 season, with Sandefjord Fotball hosting nine more Eliteserien fixtures through to December. A tight league table — with the home side sitting just above the relegation zone — means every point earned at the stadium could prove decisive. Brann arrive first on 30 August.
Nine More Home Nights Under the Lights
With the first half of the 2026 Eliteserien season now complete, Jotun Arena is set for a packed autumn of top-flight football. Sandefjord Fotball's remaining home schedule features nine fixtures at the stadium, beginning with a visit from Brann on 30 August and followed by Viking on 4 September.
The run continues with home dates against Start, Lillestrøm, Molde, Tromsø and a season finale against Vålerenga on 13 December — a sequence that covers virtually the entire Norwegian football autumn.
Why These Games Matter
Sandefjord currently sit 13th in the Eliteserien table, just two points clear of the relegation places with 16 games played. That precarious league position makes home form at Jotun Arena — and the points that come with it — critical for the club's survival hopes.
The artificial turf surface at the stadium, measuring 105 metres by 68 metres, is a factor that visiting sides must adapt to, and Sandefjord will be banking on that home advantage to turn the tide after back-to-back defeats against Bodø/Glimt and KFUM Oslo.
A Stadium Ready for the Challenge
Jotun Arena has a capacity of around 6,500–7,200 spectators and has already demonstrated its ability to draw big crowds this season, selling out for the KFUM Oslo clash and shifting over 3,500 tickets for the Bodø/Glimt fixture in July.
With a long and decisive autumn run now underway, supporters will be hoping the stands can generate the kind of atmosphere that pushes Sandefjord up the table and secures their Eliteserien status for another year.
