Sandefjord's Autumn Run: Nine Home Games Still to Come at Jotun Arena
Sandefjord Fotball's 2026 Eliteserien season is far from over, with nine home fixtures remaining at Jotun Arena between now and December. Sitting 13th in the table, the club will need their stadium — and their supporters — to play a key role if they are to climb the standings before the season concludes.
A Packed Autumn Ahead at Jotun Arena
With the Folkets Kamp chapter now closed, attention turns to what lies ahead for Jotun Arena over the coming months. Sandefjord Fotball face a demanding run of home fixtures in the Eliteserien, with Brann visiting on 30 August, Viking on 4 September, and further dates against Lillestrøm, Molde, Tromsø and Vålerenga before the curtain comes down on the 2026 season in December.
The club's next outing, however, is an away trip to Sarpsborg 08 on 16 August, giving the squad and coaching staff a moment to regroup before the next home crowd assembles at Jotun Arena.
13th Place with Points Still to Play For
Sandefjord currently sit 13th in the Eliteserien table, level on points with Kristiansund directly below them, and just three points off KFUM in 12th. With nine home matches still to come at Jotun Arena this season, the artificial turf on Sandefjord's 105m x 68m pitch could yet prove to be a decisive home advantage.
The 7,200-capacity stadium has already demonstrated its pulling power in 2026 — more than 3,500 tickets were sold for the Bodø/Glimt fixture in late July — and the club will be banking on continued strong support as the battle to climb the table intensifies.
Stadium Activity Beyond the First Team
Jotun Arena is not solely the preserve of the senior men's side. According to the club's own communications, week 33 features three separate matches at the stadium, underlining its role as a hub for football activity in the Sandefjord community even when the first team is playing away from home.
